F1 Modified Typeface
Formula One, a high paced, always intense motorsport and one that is the core of this modified typeface. With Source Serif Variable being the base, each letter form, number, mark, symbol, and so on is derived from a element and feature of Formula One. A typeface that can be used for the face of the sport, merchandise, and everything in between.
Designing every character for a full typeface came with its challenges. Especially when designing for such a specific theme, there are only so many times you can incorporate a front wing, tire, helmet and so on into a character. This piece in the end is one to be proud of and one to be pushed even further in the future.
