Vinyl Design
Given the freedom to choose any Graphic Designer in the industry and create a vinyl typography design that is the quote of the designer. The vinyl was to incorporate the style of the designer but with the flare of personal touches. Bierut is known for design that breaks the planes of the norm and that was the goal of this piece, to capture the essence of Bierut himself.
Other styles of Bierut's work can be reflected in these other two pieces that would work in similar settings to the final vinyl design. The piece below is to represent a loose "MB" which has similarities to that of the Yale architecture work, much like the bottom left piece which is another mocked up possibility.
Inspiration from Michael Bierut's Yale Architecture pieces. The style can be reflected in the finished piece of vinyl. The piece to the right shows the squares used to help in the vinyl application, with the size of the pieces it allows for seamless matching.
